India's national bird, the Peacock is one of the most beautiful birds I've seen. It's shimmering blue body and golden plumage seem to have been put here on earth to inspire artists... And so, I just had to do this tutorial. I hope you guys enjoy it!!
In order to achieve this look, you will need:
Primer
Emerald green eyeshadow (1)
Dark blue eyeshadow (2)
Darker blue eyeshadow (3)
Shimmery gold eyeshadow
Eyeshadow brush
Eyeliner Brush
Kajal, Mascara
Shimmery Maroon lipstick.
1. Prime your eyelids. You can use a regular primer. Apply this all over your upper lid, till the brow bone. Using an eyeshadow brush, apply eyeshadow (1) to your lid, covering half of it. Do not extend the crease line.
2. Apply eyeshadow (2) to the other half of your lid, blending the colors in the middle. Keep the colors within the crease.
3. Now, apply eyeshadow (3) above the crease. You can play around with the shape of the darker color, and how you blend it. In this tutorial, I've avoided too much blending and given a sharp shape to the darkest blue color. At this step, freshen the green which might get lost among the dark blues. Using an eyeliner brush and eyeshadow (3), create a tapering shape at the inner corner. Apply the shimmery gold eyeshadow to the rest of the space under your brown bone.
4. Finally, using the eyeliner brush, line your lower lash line with eyeshadow (1) and (2). Skip the eyeliner, apply Kajal and loads of mascara to your upper and lower lashes. Use an eyelash curler if you have one.
5. Wipe off any fallout using some moisturizer on a cotton ball and finish off with your concealer-foundation routine. Apply a natural shade of blush on the apples of your cheeks, and some highlighting powder on your T-zone and cheekbones. Apply a shimmery maroon lipstick. If you want, you can cover the lipstick with a layer of clear gloss.
Hope you guys enjoy this tutorial!! Stay pretty! xoxo
