Here's a simple tutorial on how to achieve a winged eyeliner look. Winged eyeliner is a very versatile look. It's like a black shirt- you can dress it up, or dress it down. This look is a simple daytime look...
To achieve this look, you will need:
Black eyeliner- you can use any kind (liquid or gel, preferably). I'm using my e.l.f. waterproof eyeliner pen.
Base makeup (Concealer, foundation and powder)
Contouring makeup
Natural blush
Berry colored lipstick
Mascara
Kajal (optional)
1. Start by applying your base makeup and filling in your brows. Since you won't be using eyeshadow and powder pigments on the eyes for this look, you don't have to wait till the end for this step. Draw a straight line from the outer corner of your eye, towards the outer corner of your eyebrow.
2. Now create a V shaped wing by drawing from the outer corner of the wing to the inner corner of your eye. The line should be thicker at the outer corner and taper towards the inner corner. (If you're getting confused, the picture is pretty self-explanatory :D)
3. If you want, you can stop at step two and finish your eyes off with mascara. Or, you could line your lower lashes using the eyeliner pen, and you waterline using kajal (kohl), and finish off with mascara.
4. Now that the eyeliner is done, move on to contouring your cheekbones using bronzer (for a daytime look), or a matte contouring powder (evening look). Apply a natural-looking blush, highlight your T-zone and apply the berry pink lipstick. I have used a matte color for a simple day time look. If you want to add some drama to the look, use a shimmery lip gloss, or a darker shade of lipstick. You could also add some shimmery nude eyeshadow to your lid before using eyeliner, to create a more heavy look.

I think using a business card like a stencil would be a great way to avoid shakiness bloopers. Michelle Phan is YouTube's #1 Beauty guru and I have learned a lot about makeup from her.
If you want thicker looking lashes, use falsies or thicken them up using this simple trick.
